Laura DeMers worked for almost 13 years at the Indianapolis Reservations Office for USAirways. Corporate Headquarters closed the office on January 31, 2002 due to the decline of passengers and callers after the events of September 11. Laura now works for FedEx as a courier. Laura is an active member and previous board member of the Clay County Humane Society. Several mailboxes have been donated for raffles and auctions to help raise money for the animals at the Humane Society and other area Rescue Groups.
"The first Designer Dog Mailbox was made simply because I wanted a unique Dalmatian mailbox and couldn't find one that I liked. Many friends and family members requested their own...and now I am a woodworking fool." There have been many requests for breeds & animals not currently listed in the design gallery. Feel free to let me know which breed you are interested in by clicking on the Dalmatian in the mailbox.
